"Room was clean but in need of a revamp. Carpet in hall was riding up and in need of replacing. Inside the room, it was comfortable enough, but furniture was very old and rickety and just needs updating. Small areas where paint is peeling or damaged. Overall, for the price, it’s hard to complain, but a major refurb is required for this to be a 4* hotel which is advertised."

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL The photos and descriptions are not accurate- the property is rundown, damp, is not secure and judging by the locked fire doors is operating illegally. You are required to leave the hotel by 9am or face a fine of £10 The reception area is full of junk, the front door is kept locked and is accessed by ringing a mobile number or waiting for a shabbily dressed man to arrive. There are only a small number of rooms actually used - one of the rooms offered to us did not...

Fabulous first trip
"First time staying in this hotel but certainly hope it won’t be the last. A lovely hotel with a great pool/spa area. Room great with plenty of teas/ coffees/water and all the amenities we required including fridge and safe in room. Breakfast beautiful! All freshly cooked and constantly being refreshed.
