"Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek was very nice, quiet and relaxing. The entire staff gave excellent hospitality. The room in its entirety was very clean, including the bathroom. I surprise my twin sister (from Pennsylvania) with a two day stay. She was very surprised and happy and couldn’t stop saying how much she loved it. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the nice spring breeze. The entire staff at the Inn was very nice, from check-in to the time we left. Let me not forget the wonderful ladies who served the breakfast. I’m sorry I I did not get their names but they worked the mornings of April 16 and 17th. I will definitely be coming back for a stay. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy the breeze and the wonderful scenery. This is the place to go. There were wonderful places to shop and explore. The Amish people community, a very welcoming and inviting."

"The “hot” tub was barely lukewarm. That was too bad because the jets seemed to be working great. There are two gas powered fire pits in a lovely area. Unfortunately, one of the fireplaces would not stay lit. We reported it thinking it just needed more propane. That was not the answer. The breakfast consisted of the usual buffet breakfast choices but mostly cold with rubbery scrambled eggs. But the saving grace was the cinnamon rolls! Also, the room was spacious and clean!"

"Our third visit to this property and we have enjoyed each visit. We use the fireplace more for ombiaunce than for heat. The kitchen is suppled with everything that we have needed for cooking. There are fresh eggs, cereal, fruit, milk and juice to get your visit started which is over an above other places we have stayed. Great place to go and relax."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! Everything was great...from the hot tub to the campfires...it was very clean, very comfortable furniture, a full size fridge, a nice deep porch for lounging around watching the birds and spotting a few deer. It has a propane grill and a gas stove, so you're all set to cook up some meals if you choose! The location is nice, it sits back off the road so is quiet and private. It's a couple miles from town at most, so it's not far to get a bite to eat if you don't want to cook! :) The hosts seem very nice and are quick to answer messages. We highly recommend this cabin, it's a great place to stay! "

"This cottage is my new "home away from home"!! Everything was better than what you see in the pictures. The peacefulness and privacy of the area made me feel so relaxed. Morning coffee in the rocking chair on the porch while listening to the birds chirp set the mood for each day. Location to Amish / local establishments was easy to navigate once you know the area. Melissa was quick to respond to any needs, yet very respectful of my wish for independence. I have - and will continue to highly recommend this cottage for a destination near Sugar Creek or New Philadephia, Ohio"

"This place was perfect for a family weekend in Amish Country. It was also kid friendly with a high chair for dinner, pack and play, and toys. It was far off the road to feel away from everyone and it was very quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. "
