"Only problem we had was checking in 3 times as room not ready at 3 or 4 pm so ended up going for food and finely checked in at 6pm . However they did give us a voucher for a free drink at the bar. Apparently they had a shortage of staff over the Easter weekend…"

"Room cleanliness poor asked staff hotel full !mark on carpet walls bathroom sealant poor very messy and stained rusty chrome brackets in shower outdated furniture peeling paint around windows draft through all windows even though shut breakfast poor hot items just warm ! Tried different time for second breakfast still just warm "

"Room was small, dated ( not a huge issue) and the wallpaper dirty and scruffy, the room was dusty. The bathroom was again very small, dated, the shower was a nightmare to get right, water pressure was good. Again dirty behind tap fittings and wall fan. We could hear the neighbours snoring so walls are fairly thin. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of t.v channels. The pool was ok, not the cleanest. Location good but beware if you drive here it's 12-15 pound to park in the hotel. "

"This would probably have been a totally fine stay except there was about 50 members of the same family staying there, maybe 75, and their kids were marauding round the hotel leaving trash, upturned chairs, broken glasses etc all over the place. The bar was a no go area because they'd taken over, so loud. Not enough staff to police the bad behavior or clean up and the parents were doing nothing. Pool was absolutely rammed and not a place my kids wanted to hang out - tiny and busy, despite booking a slot. No fridge in the room! Wouldn't stay again."

"We have stayed here before and it was perfect. Unfortunately this time round it wasn't. The room was cold. We put the heating on which was switched off at some point during the night. Leading to me having excruciating pain. Then there was a huge amount of noise through the night above and at the side of us. I think we were place next to staff quarters or where they do work in the hotel. Didn't sleep at all and it was frustrating. But the Spa was amazing and Anastasia was brilliant."

"Excelled as always. Everything about Crabwall Manor is the best. Fantastic grounds, stunning rooms and attentive staff from the reception to the bar staff to housekeeping. Warm welcome on checking in at reception, passed the keys to room 47 and although it doesn’t really have a ‘view’ the enclosed courtyard was nicely presented. The room was vast with enough space to provide the 2 high back chairs without feeling crowded. Bathroom was huge……(only wish was it had a freestanding bath!!!!) and again nicely decorated. Had drinks and evening meal in the bar, food was as great as was the staff who couldn’t do enough. Peaceful nights sleep with little to no noise from surrounding rooms. 4th visit now and I’m feeling that will soon increase given just how great every stay has become."
