"What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. "

The spring water was invigorating and pure. The family were very friendly. "We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful, extremely well equipped lodge. As an extended family group with an 11 month baby and a dog it suited us very well and everyone was happy. Runswick bay has a beautiful beach and is quiet and unspoilt which suited us! Yet it was a short drive to hot spots such as Whitby, Sandsend and Robin Hoods Bay. We would love to return in the not too distant future."

"A Perfect Anniversary Escape in Serendipity – Every Detail Considered We stayed in Room 15, Serendipity, to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. Thoughtful touches like welcome chocolates and a personalised congratulations message made us feel truly valued. Dinner was superb — beautifully presented with outstanding flavours — and followed by a surprise delivery of celebratory truffles. Serendipity offered direct poolside access via a private staircase, allowing us to step straight out into the sunshine for a relaxing afternoon with cocktails — the Hugo Spritz was a standout. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and attentive, and the spa provided just the right atmosphere to unwind. The personal touches really made us feel celebrated, and it’s clear the team takes genuine pride in the guest experience.
