"For a two-star hotel, the Silver Gull did very well! The location could not be any better, and for the most part the room and surrounds were clean and comfortable. The motel has seen better days, as the salt air and sand do take their toll. Most everything needs an update but AOK overall. Staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions. Great to have parking on site!....but...be careful as the spaces are very small (not meant for today's SUVs) and maneuvering is difficult. Many cars have scraped the cement pillars! Good value for the area, and we would go back."

"Like the convenience to access the beach. Did not care for valet parking. Needs to increase frequency of cleaning, saw debris on the hallway carpet that lasted about a day, The towel collection bins were overflowing. Garbage bins overflowing. Pool bathrooms can use more frequent cleaning. Lack of sufficient number of water filling station and ice, should be in very floor. The bathroom sliding door was broken. The AC unit is extremely loud. The partition in the shower is two small lots of water spill outside the shower."

"The stay was good however I feel like the Tv needs to be a smart tv and the internet was awful. There is a short walk over the bridge to the beach and plenty of restaurants both ways. We loved sitting on the balcony watching all the water activities that folks were doing and I even seen some dolphins. You want be disappointed for the exception of the internet and no smart tv."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was the perfect location for a week away with the girls. The place was clean, well appointed, and close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Having 2 parking was huge plus!"
