Our visit co-incided with scaffolding entirely covering the outside of the building for remedial work on the walls and roof, but although off-putting there was no noise or dust from the works - just a pair of feet dangling from the scaffolding outside our window on the day of our arrival! "Lovely place, unstaffed but easy access. Only issue was it was very hot even with a fan on a day that was 20 degrees C outside, so would be unbearable in the height of summer. Fan was in the room, but didn’t do much. Open windows wouldn’t have helped due to road noise. "

Our room had a stunning view, was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and included a fridge with water and milk, and tea and coffee making facilities.
