"Excellent customer service at reception - especially on arrival when we were late for the check- in slot (Reception closes at 10pm message call ahead to arrange late check-in if you're going to arrive later) - the friendly, welcoming receptionist stayed on duty 20 mins beyond her shift until we arrived. Comfort Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable - being a Brit I would have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in the room but this isn't the norm in Germany and it wasn't a big issue/problem. Breakfast buffet at £4 per person was excellent value and good quality with plenty of variety. Again staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and welcoming. No other meals are served but plebty of cafés, bars, restaurants within 2 mins. There is a bar with limited drinks in reception. Location is great for shops, bars, public transport and railway station (10 min walk - taxi takes a seemingly lobg route but this is because of a very quirky road system), and Wuppertal's famous Schwebebahn, the C19th suspended tramway that runs suspended the above the River Wupper from one end if the town to the other...amazing. Ķöln and Dusseldorf are easily accessible by frequent trains. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Exceptionally clean, self-catering accommodation. Convenient location close to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof and Schwebebahn. A range hood over the cooktop would be good - accidentally set off the smoke alarm. I heard another guest managed it as well. No dishwasher or washing machine in room. Guest laundry only had one machine and was never available when needed. Public laundromat nearby was good - cash only. "

"Nice clean hotel that was very quiet even though it is in a busy area nearby. Comfy bed and a good sized bathroom considering many European bathrooms can be quite small. There is limited parking at the actual hotel but a city-run lot is nearby and easy to get to being under 300m away with reasonable rates. "
