"The room was so cozy and really uniquely designed. The bathroom was huge and beautiful! Thanks for the great stay! "

"The first room I was put in had a overwhelming mouldy smell, to the extent that I actually found mould on the furniture - this is highly unacceptable. The bathroom was mouldy, the shower head was super clogged/calcified, and the general condition of the room was just not up to Southern Sun standards. Also the door to the room’s lock was missing/not working. Never again."

"Our rooms were great we had cabins on the river which were amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful only issue we had was we never saw hippos! Nobody’s fault but was the main reason for booking! "

"The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof."

"Room was spotless, staff were amazing. Beautiful location and our safaris booked through the resort could not have been better. We had a massage at the spa and a pedicure which were both also very good. All in all we had the most fantastic time and I can’t wait to come back. "
