Holiday Inn Express North, Xi’an

The hotel is located on the #2 Subway line, 3 stops S of the Xi’an Bei (North) train station. Easy access from there to Terra. Cotta Warriors, the old City Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda. The hotel is excellent & superb value. Rooms are clean and efficient, & the beds are comfortable. Everythibg works. The staff are friendly, the breakfast buffet is deicious. This is a real gem!

We checked in really fast, check in on the third floor. There were no hassle at all. We came by bullet train Xi a north station, we got on the no.2 metro train and got off at Xingzheng Zhong xin station, this is a really big station, we got directed to the other side of the hotel, get of the metro and exit from C5 and the hotel is about 200 metres on the right side of the City On shopping mall. Our stay include breakfast, however if you are looking for western breakfast there aren't many options, just try the Chinese food there are pretty good and decent. We have a spacious room on the 18th floor. Staff members are very friendly, the only down thing for me was the air-con it is a central air-con so I had to ring the front desk and ask them to turn it down. We had to extend our stay at the hotel and got an upgrade because I book through online without the supreme room price. ^.^

Nice Hotel, Convenient to Subway/Airport Shuttle

We had a pleasant stay. The hotel staff was pretty friendly and spoke decent English. One girl took the time to show us exactly where we needed to go to catch the airport shuttle (right across the street). The airport shuttle (a van) is 25 yuan per person, but you buy the tickets in the building across the street from the hotel. I can't remember the letters, but go to the 5th door. Breakfast was good enough, again, more Chinese than Western, but it sufficed. It is also close to the subway, so we were able to go into town and see the Bell Tower and walk through the Muslim market. The hotel was pretty quiet and the room did not smell like smoke. I would consider staying here again.

Clean and friendly!

Housekeeping left us some lovely gifts (magnet and some soda) when we checked in. Room was very clean, and a great view of the city. The receptionists could speak very good English so no trouble communicating

Good location - next to the City On Shopping Complex and the Metro Xingzheng Zhongxin Metro Station (行政中心）only 5 mins walk away. The counter staff are friendly and helpful. The airport shutter bus stop is just across the street and it is the second last stop to the airport. The room is clean and comfortable. Will return to stay here if I come to Xian again.

시안시 중심부와는 거리가 있지만 나머지는 만족합니다.

시안시 중심부와는 거리가 있지만 나머지는 만족합니다. 처음 체크인 할때는 담당자가 중국어만 가능해서 체크인하는데 오랜 시간이 소요되었습니다. 다만 영어를 할 수 있는 남성 스태프가 둘째날부터 있어서 택시 잡아주는 것 등의 부탁도 쉽게 들어주었습니다. 음식도 맛있었고 식당 스태프들도 친절했습니다. 지하철 행정중심역 근처긴 하지만 지하철을 타고 25분정도 가야 종루에 도달할 수 있습니다. 다만 택시를 이용하면 요금이 얼마 나오지 않으니 택시를 타시는 걸 추천드립니다. 근처에는 백화점 및 편의점이 있어 저녁에 간단한 요깃거리 구매도 가능합니다.

Excellent location - next to a mall with many restaurants, near to subway and train station. Fast checking in and out. Housekeeping is good. Breakfast is good too. Room is well maintained and the bed is comfortable.

Good hotel for modern shopping area

Taxi driver couldn’t find the hotel! The address is Weiyang but it’s actually on a side street. It is attached to the City On shopping mall and very close to a line 2 metro station. The checkin staff know almost no English. Very friendly though. The room size was adequate and two could be OK. I was on floor 16 with a view of the main road. Quite noisy with horn sounding from early to late. With drapes closed it was quiet enough to sleep. Bed was too soft for me. HDX used to be my favourite place due to the firmness of the beds. Here, every day for three i woke up tired. The AC would not get cooler than 23c so i was uncomfortable at night. Keeping the window open cooled the room but let in the noise. Breakfast was OK. Metro fare to the Bell Tower is 3RMB and to the bullet train station, 2RMB. Takes 30 min from hotel to the Drum tower. Plenty of free water provided daily in room and hallway.

Very well connected, room spacious, comfortable and clean, good breakfast, mostly chinese style. The staff is kind, but, apart from the manager Wendy (thanks for helping us with the taxi to the terracotta army!) they don't speak english. This needs an improvement

Visiting friends in Xi'an

This hotel is adjacent to a big shopping mall known as City On Shopping Centre with a big food court and numerous eateries and multiplex cinemas and is quite near to the high way to and fro from the airport that you would avoid traffic congestion. The standard hotel room is not very spacious but comfortable enough for two persons. The free breakfast has good variety of foods and beverages.
