Nafsimedon Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nafsimedon is conveniently located on the edge of Nafplion's old town and has "period charm" (i.e. circa 1880), which means that one shouldn't expect a lot of fancy, modern touches, though the television screen hidden behind the one-way mirror was an interesting touch. My ground-level room was smallish but adequate for a single traveller. The only real complaint here was that the towel hook in the bathroom was a pair of slick, ceramic horns set horizontally, which meant that towels quickly slipped off it and onto the floor. A rubber cap on the end of each horn would remedy that, I think. The staff were very helpful, especially when it came to watching over my suitcase for a few hours after I checked out and reuniting me with a shirt that I'd forgotten in a drawer of my room. The shaded, front garden is a nice place for breakfast too."

"A beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous traditional room with lovely spa bath as well as a hot tub. Views are out of this world from windows and private balcony. All staff were so friendly and helpful and room was services daily with new towels etc. Will definitely be back. Can't recommend enough. Just perfect."
