The view of the lake was breathtaking and the room was decorated so nicely. The General Managers and staff were so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is generous and delicious. The spa experience was top notch and Jasmine, my therapist was so intuitive and had a wonderful touch. The Grand Halai is one of the best experiences I’ve had top to bottom. "The selling point of this place is its location from where you can walk 15 minutes up a small hill to see Alishan sunrise. This advantage may be the disadvantage the same time, because for these tourists who come to Alishan first time, transportation between the Alishan park entrance (the transportation hub) and the hotel is a little bit confusing. This hotel is half hour bus-driving from the entrance and you must pre-book the hotel shuttle to pick you up at the bus station. But overall my experience there was good and the lady boss was very nice and helpful. The facility and amenity are good."
