"The place advertised Wi-Fi but that wasn’t available. It’s near a very noisy bar that plays music late. Large property but difficult to gain entry."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and had all the items needed for a comfortable stay. The host Ana responded very quickly whenever we had a question and was very helpful. Location is very convenient. I 100% recommend staying here and this place will be at the top of my list the next time I need to stay in Quito. "

"This hotel was nice and the added bonus of the homemade breakfast each morning (someone literally came into the room to make it for us!) was a great personal touch. We had the large suite on the top floor, so I'm not sure that applies to all rooms, but we appreciated it very much. The building is old (of course!) but the rooms were very comfortable and well cared for. The shower is super tiny, but-once I figured out how to work it-it did get very hot! "Carolina Park across the road was great for walking and exercise, full of attractions for family fun. The Botanic gardens was lovely outing, beautiful, interesting display of native and exotic flora and a10 min. Walk across the street. The staff were not only courteous and efficient, they went out of their way to accommodate my every need unexpectedly as I don’t speak Spanish. Thankfully several of them did. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the metro which takes you to many tourist attractions, most of the places you will want to see around the city in just a few minutes. Great spot and you won’t be sorry to stay. As a sole traveller, I ate at the hotel every night and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with many healthy options available and the dinner menu was very good, nicely presented by the chef. AND the best margaritas I have had in Quito by far. Would happily revisit!"
