"Amazing views and designed. Clean, friendly staff that works hard. My only complaints are the shower isn't well designed it has a lot of standing water all the time as it doesn't drain, and there's no real service at the pool area, you have to hunt someone down. The buffet for breakfast was fine, nothing special but pretty in how they set it up. I didn't try the expensive restaurant as they wanted to charge $300 a person for the tasting menu. Insane pricing really - we ate for $20-30 a night amazing meals in town - so I do recommend just taking a Didi to town and eating there, really wonderful restaurants and pairs well by escaping that chaos in Yangshuo for the peaceful hotel settings. Cleaning crew and driver special shout out for being great. Spa was very nicely done, but again, just wildly overpriced"

"A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Downtown! When we booked this place, it had a different name, and I thought we were going to a hotel. In fact, we had a hard time finding it because the address took us to a youth hostel—Emoji Youth Hostel. I'll be honest: I was disappointed at first, because I didn't want to stay in a youth hostel (we are not that young), and I assumed the quality would be low. But I was very impressed! The room was very nice, cleaned and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They even threw me a small birthday party with food and a cake—a watermelon cake! It was really lovely, and I truly appreciated the time they spent preparing everything and making it so special. They even sang "Happy Birthday" in Chinese! The staff are always open to helping you in any way they can. On top of that, the location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown. Don't get discouraged by the youthful name, Emoji Youth Hostel. Even if you're not that young, you will feel great here. Highly recommended"

"Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! We loved this property as it was clean, the room was large and the staff were so helpful. They booked us cars to get from the train station and airport, helped us book a scooter and even gave us food recommendations. We used the pool as it was so hot out and we also ate the breakfast both mornings. The staff were the highlight though as they were truly amazing. Such a beautiful property to be lucky enough to stay at."

"This is a gem of a hotel. Tucked away so you wouldn’t even know it was there. We arrived at night and it was beautifully lit and in a gorgeous setting. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The chef is great - highly recommend having dinner there. They also booked a tour and guide for us which was great. Everyone and everything is perfect."

"A wonderful stay in Yangshuo and easily a 5-star experience for us. The location is excellent—very convenient and walkable—and it felt like everything had been thoughtfully arranged with travelers in mind. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, spoke excellent English, and was always happy to answer questions or find a solution to anything we asked. The hotel also offers far more than we expected: good coffee, plenty of food and drink choices (including alcohol), with free delivery to the room, as well as in-room massage, cooking classes, and even art and calligraphy classes on the premises. The combination of location, service, convenience, and all the little extras made our stay especially enjoyable. We would happily stay at Yangshuo Riverview Hotel again and definitely recommend it."

"The room was a good size for the price and was decently clean. Cleaning staff maintained the room and brought water everyday. The staff and owners were very kind, going above and beyond in order to make the trip memorable. They helped book many of my tickets and were even able to offer some discounts on certain tickets! No matter what you need if you ask them they will do all they can to accommodate and help you on your trip"
