Just under a mile from the delightful seaside town of Yarmouth, the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, with its busy harbour it is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth’s narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is not to be missed. Totland is only 2.9 miles away and rests in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the west side of the Isle of Wight's beautiful coast, offering visitors local shops and pubs and spectacular unspoilt coastal scenery. The award-winning beaches of both Totland and Colwell Bay offer a range of activities, whilst a pretty footpath will take you to Freshwater in ten minutes where you will find its golf course and public swimming pool. Norton is near the village of Northwood which is found on the southern boundary of Cowes, at the northern end of the Isle of Wight. The centre of the quaint town of Cowes, probably best known for its sailing heritage, is just 2 miles away. Home of the Royal Yacht Squadron and host to the world famous 'Cowes Week' each summer.
