"Our stay was excellent. Right from check in until check out. We booked parking which was easy to find and easy to get your cases into the hotel. The room was a bit dated but it was immaculately clean, was a lovely size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bar area was good and all the staff friendly. They had a happy hour between 5 and 6.30 where wine, beer and spirits were €8each. Ideal after a hard day exploring the lovely town of Launceston. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but it was always busy. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel for location, comfort and friendly staff. Thanks very much for making our stay in Launceston special."

"We had a relaxing stay in a comfort room, I could see the staff took me into account by giving us the ground floor (I had mentioned I had a walking stick on the phone) I also noticed the room was great for those with a disability so it felt nice to be thought of and accommodated as I didn’t ask for this specifically. The only problem was some noisey young girls laughing in the corridors but other than that we had a pleasant stay."

"The Terrence restaurant was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, except for the breakfast restaurant. They seemed annoyed when we asked for poached eggs, there were no cups left for tea or coffee. Again, they said 'aren't there any at your table". Impatient when we asked for help. We had the Balmoral suite, the view was incredible. It was a superior room and the bath was very deep and luxurious. The grounds were very relaxing. "

"The property was delightful. We found it quite cold the evening we were there and were very grateful for the log burner. It was a very fleeting visit and it was very good of Erin tom agree to just one night. I had some difficulty on my phone dealing with the VRBO booking (had never used them before) but it was fine on my laptop (technophobe so don't know why!) so my 4 star comment relate to that not the quality of the accommodation. I think we all (4 adults) felt that a few days in the house would have been very relaxing but we were on a very whistlestop tour! Lovely views but mainly dark when we were there! "
