"The Auberge Hotel is a very nice hotel with comfortable beds, fantastic views of the mountains, the bay and on a clear day you can see all the way to central city.
I however found the front desk unhelpful and unprepared at times. From check in, room change to checkout. I am familiar with Discovery Bay but at points had questions about transportation and it was met with subpar information. I had questions about dining and there was no clear answer on I my simple question on breakfast times.
The first room I checked into was extremely damp and required a dehumidifier.
Perhaps the hotel would be better served to be taken over by one of the bigger hotel chains."
