"We enjoyed this cabin very much. It is in a quiet part of the neighborhood with just beautiful trees and a lovely marsh in back. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch by the gas fireplace provided. The area is quite beautiful and the hikes were plentiful. We saw deer and a fox! So fun! We plan to go on the lake cruise today before we leave McCall. September is the low season with no crowds. Communication for the cabin was excellent. We would definitely come again and stay at Edelweiss cabin."

"We enjoyed our time here. We had a reunion, celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday (who is a local). We are from McCall and love to come back and visit.The great:- Great size and bed arrangements were fantastic. Easy to fit and share the space with our young and large family.- Beautiful light colors for McCall.- Slightly cleaner than most other rentals we’ve stayed in.- Good quality soap and shampoo.- Blankets were weather appropriate for the hottest week in McCall.Can improve:- Wasps on the back porch.- Mold in the shower.- Floors aren’t that clean. The carpet could be replaced. It feels grimy. I know this can be tricky because not all guests are good about taking their shoes off.- The kitchen has very old cooking dishes and isn’t equipped well for cooking. We value cooking our meals, and this was a sore spot. Rusty metal spatula and nonstick pans.- Even though we had fans and windows wide open, it was incredibly hot the first few hours of the night and was difficult to sleep. Not sure how to help this in McCall on the hottest summer days. There might be some creative options!- The lockbox is nearly impossible to close. And the key doesn’t even go to the front door! So we had to leave it unlocked. The frontdoor was unlocked when we arrived, likely due to the key not fitting.- The garage door doesn’t open or close from the outside. The keypad might be out of battery. Not sure."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect with beautiful views of the lake. We loved the hot tub and proximity to Ponderosa State Park."

"The Frost property was a great retreat spot. It was clean and supplied to meet all our needs during our stay! Plenty of room for our 6 adults and 3 toddlers! The bonus was watching a mama doe with her twin fawns twice a day eating near the kitchenette"
