Unprofessional Management & Lack of Medical Support – Avoid This Property
I am writing this review out of sheer frustration after being stonewalled by the management of **Story Resorts** following a genuine medical emergency.
My family checked in on June 23rd for a two-night stay (Booked via Hotels.com, Booking Ref: 73473490080653). The initial room provided was incredibly dark and gloomy, so I paid an **additional ₹10,000 directly to the Front Desk Manager** for an upgrade. Alarmingly, the staff **failed to issue any official receipt or bill** for this cash/counter transaction.
### The Emergency
Later that night, my 13-year-old son suffered a asthma attack. The resort had **no on-site duty doctor or immediate medical facilities** that we could go to and so for his safety, we had no choice but to cut our trip short and check out early the next morning, having spent barely 12 hours at the property.
### The Aftermath & Lack of Empathy
For days, the Front Desk Manager has been dragging his feet and giving us the runaround to consider refunding the updrade charges collected although we are ok to forgo full booking amt of 24k.for days. I provided official medical reports and emergency hospital bills via WhatsApp as proof, but I have been met with constant empty promises of "checking with corporate" and zero callbacks.
Avoid this property and not a true four star as such
