We had a lovely stay at Harmony house, a real home from home. The room was simple but delightful with lots of thoughtful extras and breakfast was delicious. Adele was a very friendly and helpful host. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely B & B

Adele was the perfect host. This quaint B & B is very well presented. We stayed in the Great Burnett room which was beautifully decorated. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay outside of York this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

A great stay.

We stayed in the Cornflower room. Very impressed with all of the thoughtful extras included from milk in the fridge a variety of beverages, bath salts etc. Adele was a lovely host, very helpful with local information. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will return if in the area.

Adele is the perfect host, very welcoming and helpful in recommending local attractions & restaurants. It’s the second time we visited in the space of a year. This time we stayed in the Cornflower room, which was equally as beautiful as the Poppy room. Without doubt we’ll only stay there in the future, as our stays have been faultless

Hidden gem

What a stunning house! Tasteful and elegant decor throughout with homely features. Adele is the perfect host; attentive yet not overbearing and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The room was spotless with plenty of refreshments and little treats left for us to enjoy. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Excellent base for exploring with a great host. Harmony House is a lovely property overlooking the green next to the local church, very peaceful. Poppy room was spacious and comfortable. Adele's breakfasts were excellent and she was able to give us advice on local restaurants. Stay here!

We had a fantastic stay, everything was lovely, clean and comfortable. The extras were extremely well appreciated - such as the complementary toiletries, drinks selection and homemade millionaire's shortbread.
