Stayed in the St Peter’s sweet for my boyfriend’s birthday, staff were lovely, beautiful suite. Great location not loud in the center but close by easy enough to walk in to town or get an uber etc

This is a lovely, small hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The only slight problem is road traffic noise which did make it difficult to sleep.

Lovely decor, super comfy beds and bed linen. New Holgate Hotel is immaculately clean and serves a great breakfast. A special thank you to Julie and Francesca who are so welcoming and helpful, as was the gentleman in Reception this afternoon. They are a credit to Rena the Manager.

Hotel was perfect for our weekend trip to York. Despite the 20 minute walk into the town centre, this hotel makes up for it with the quality of rooms, friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was fantastic. Next time we visit York we will be sure to stay here again.
