"The property had an elegance about it that made it very charming. Everything has been kept up really well. The facilities in the room were excellent. The hotel is literally steps away from both the train and bus stations that made it ideal for our travel. The most outstanding thing about the Milner was its staff. They were extremely kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us."

"This was my first stay at SixteenB. I was away with my friend for her birthday and this was near to the activities we were doing. I booked the smaller room. I did try to upgrade to the larger room but was not able to do so. However Olga did try to do it for me. I loved the smaller room though. It isn’t as small as some other reviews are indicating. There was plenty of room for 2 of us, and all the presents and huge helium balloon I got my friend! The room and bathroom were really clean and fresh. There are lots of extras provided, plenty of tea/coffee products and breakfast foods as well which was a lovely addition and really useful. It’s clear that Olga cares about her guests. She kept on touch with me letting me know she was there if I needed anything. We are definitely coming again. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Olga! "

"The place was very clean, and Jean, the host, was ready with any questions we had. With her recommendation, we utilized the Park and Ride just down the road for the two days we went into York. It was the perfect place for a break in driving from Scotland and we thoroughly enjoyed both the place and the host... she was very friendly and helpful.
