"Hotel is in a great location and the staff were fantastic. The breakfast is good and we enjoyed how easy it was to get around the city from the hotel being only a couple minute walk from the station. It is definitely an older building but its amenities seem to have been recently upgraded."

"Great location near Ueno station and Ueno park! So easy to get to from Narita airport via Keisei Skyliner. Lots of shopping and restaurant options close by. Ueno Park was very lovely and a great place to decompress from the bussle of the city. The hotel was very clean. Of course the rooms are compact -- like a cruise ship cabin -- but had everything we needed. The room and fabric deodorizer was a welcome addition! The room is exactly as the picture displayed. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. We stayed in a room containing a queen bed and bunk bed. It was tight but the teens felt like they had their own space in their bunks. The spa was well-stocked with towels and beauty products. Such a great way to relax at the end of a long day walking. We will stay here again!"

"We arrived very early to the hotel (8am) and opted for a 12pm check in which costs an extra 6000 yen. As we were with a 1.5 year old and a 4 year old, we were happy to simply pay for it as we were extremely exhausted from our night flight. To our delight, we were upgraded to a Superior Deluxe Family Room which was a very spacious room for a family of 4. It had a seperate tatami room with a sliding door, which was perfect for us as we were able to get the kids to sleep and also able to relax and watch tv at night without waking up the kids. We especially loved the washer and dryer in our room as it dried our clothes in one go. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending this hotel to all my family and friends as we experience great service from the staff as well."

"Traditional Japanese Hotel. Tons of character. Great value for what you get. Don’t miss out on the FREE (yes, free) Ramen every evening. Must use the Onsite Onsen. My fav part was the location! A few steps from the shrine and every night I had it all to myself "
