This hotel was an unexpected surprise...beautiful rooms and so many fantastic features. The bathroom was amazing from the heated floors, the oversized shower with beautiful tile to the incredible vanity lighting. I am so glad I discovered this hidden gem and highly recommend staying here when you visit Yountville.

Great amenities - free breakfast, free wine happy hour, free whiskey social, daily sweets left in room, a great hotel that goes above and beyond. As for what to improve, I would day the thermostat stops at 67 degrees..my wife and I like it a little colder and we'd like it the AC would get down to that level.

From the moment of arrival, the team was warm, gracious, and quietly efficient, creating a sense of effortless luxury that many five-star properties aim for but few achieve. The General Manager is clearly a strong leader — their presence is felt in the seamless service, attention to detail, and the team’s genuine hospitality. Every interaction, from front desk to housekeeping, was handled with professionalism and warmth. The location is unbeatable for wine country exploration, yet what truly makes North Block special is its ability to feel both elevated and intimate — a peaceful retreat with a pulse. Great Adult Only choice! Highly recommended to discerning travelers who appreciate service done right.

For a more spacious, private experience of the property, I recommend the poolside accommodations. The restaurant boasts excellent culinary delights. I recommended the octopus and lobster bisque. The cocktails and other libations are equally delicious. Though, the happy hour is ridiculous, held only from 3-5:00p. It's the details that matter, and, with respect to the hotel, it's a bit of an inelegant and junior framing for a boutique hotel. The hotel features a cozy pool and hot tub, has bikes for borrow, and is located in the incredible and affluent Yountville, CA, surrounded by renowned restaurants, hotels, shopping, spas, and, of course, wineries.
