"Nice rooftop onsen that is large and well kept. Limited amenities in the onsen though, and the glass windows aren’t too clean so its hard to fully admire the view it has. Hotel has free flow alcohol for 1000JPY which was really worth while. No allowance of early check in or late check out but they can keep your luggage. Rooms are rather snug for two but sufficient. "

"This is really something to be experienced. It is new (2023) and massive - hundreds and hundreds of guests. It is a spa, first and foremost. "Had dinner and breakfast along with the private bath room. The food was excellent each time and plentiful (dinner was a little on the large side so if you stay, I might recommend skipping lunch). The staff was friendly throughout the stay and greeted us at the entrance when coming in for check in and after out outing. Location is close to the bus station from Beppu station and just one street away from Beppu Jigoku (Hell) which makes for convenience when coming by public transportation....

"やまぎしさん was very helpful! He shower great hospitality and was able to provide much assistance to help make the most of my short stay. The room was AMAZING! The room onsen was nice and hot. The view was great and had everything you could ask for. I really enjoyed the senbei and haori jacket- great for photo opportunity. I did not dine at the hotel but had some great whiskey at the bar. The bartenders were excellent- wish I got their name to give them credit. Breakfast buffet was excellent...

"Nice Japanese boutique hotel within walking distance to town. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future"
