"Girl at reception was lovely and very helpful, but the hotel itself is terrible. Outdated and overpriced and in desperate need of refurbishment. The bed was horrendous, huge dent in the middle. You hear absolutely everything from other guests whether they are outside or in adjacent room - it’s like they are in the room with you. "
"Woken up all night long first night from fighting; resulted in having to call the police myself as I could not reach a staff member and they started fighting in the hallway. The new owners are trying to upgrade the rooms, but the hallways were disgusting with lights burnt out and almost completely black by my room. This property has a lot of potential, but needs some more work. Would come back for the staff and comfy beds; would not come back for the condition of the rest. "
"The room seemed clean enough if a bit outdated. The hotel is clearly historic and the floors are very creaky. We were on the second floor and could hear everytime the person upstairs took a step and it wasn’t great being woken up at 5am after a long day of travel to them seemingly walking laps in their room upstairs."
