"We were so disappointed with our stay. The steps to the apartment are steep, as people have mentioned, the bigger issue is that they’re uneven, so you suddenly meet a step that’s a lot deeper than the others, it’s not too bad going up, but be careful going down. On first glance the apartment is nice and it is well equipped. There were no instructions as to how to put the sofa bed up, or where to find the bedding, we did eventually find it. "Very tastefully designed little apartment, which much bigger than we expected. The shower in the bedroom is unusual but a much enjoyed treat. The location is great, since the apartment is within walking distance to a whole host of tourist attractions and restaurants and bars of all types. The host is super friendly and the experience leaves nothing to wish for. I’d come back anytime and can really recommend it. "

"Our stay at the Novotel Hotel in Ghent, the Netherlands, 15-17 Oct 2025 was excellent. With the exception of a couple of people, overall, the hotel's staff was friendly and hospitable. The photos matched the room -- clean and roomy. The mirror in the bathroom was a foot higher above my head (5 foot 2 inches) and the lighting was not bright enough. A light in the entrance way was broken, and not fixed during our 2 day stay, even though a cleaning staff member knew and promised to have it fixed. When requested our daily supply of coffee packages, both the front desk (condescending) and the cleaning staff were not readily responsive. BTB Fresno, CA, USA"
