"Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."

"We were a team of fishermen staying at Vila Istenic. The owner, Barbara, do run a very clean and nice small hotel. She went out of her way to accomodate every request. Rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is very nice and fresh. They did open up early upon request, to make time for us to get to the fishing waters early. And all the different sparkling wines produced are very good!"

"Walking distance to Old Town, lots of reasyaurants. Breakfast had many homemade healthy options. The all day tea and coffee and cookie jar and fresh fruit very much appreciated. Staff very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with Reall liked their commitment to be environmentally conscious "
