Hotel Golden Lamb

10/10 Excellent

"Solo traveler six night stay in balcony room facing the street. Double doors to the balcony kept out all street noise when doors are closed. Two chairs and a small table on the balcony. Hotel is in the center of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Room was clean and nicely furnished with beautiful 1890's decorative touches still in place. Bathroom was recent remodel in modern style, no tub. Always plenty of hot water. Breakfast buffet was freshly prepared daily but minimal fresh fruit. Buffet was a good value at 15 Euro per day. Nicole at front desk is friendly and is happy to offer tourist advice and help with other needs. I did not have a car and likely parking would be at a distant spot. Book a balcony room and enjoy the wonderful city and river views while watching the tourists promenade the ornate streets."

David was fantastic as well when I extended my stay."
