"Excellent food, great verity for everyone breakfast and dinner. Friendly helpful staff. Two pool areas with lots of sun beds. Nice walk into Makarska. Beer prices were reasonable especially compared to Dubrovnik. We got upgraded to superior room which was huge and very comfortable bed. Highly recommend and we plan on returning "

"Difficult check in and out. Wanted pool towels and had to go back to check in and put deposit which is understandable but once again had to go to main desk and wait. They could have told us when we checked in. Also, had to call for them to lower temperature in room. They did but it was still hot."

"Absolutely great hotel. Fantastic food, private beach, all inclusive drinks (even on the beach!) and a lovely pool. Very good location wise if you're looking for a bit of relaxation, 2 near by quaint villages either side of the hotel for those that like to do a short 40-60 min walk. Would recommend 1 evening in Makarska approx 30 mins away by taxi /bus shuttle just to experience something a bit different to the hotel (but hotel evening food/entertainment can't be faulted). The local drinks part of the all inclusive package were all of decent quality- overall Would love to stay again "

"Booked 2 nights at Hotel Central Beach 9, Makarska mainly based on the location and sea views shown online. The hotel is right opposite the beach however, what wasn’t known was that the view is of a huge green inflatable assault course in the sea. The location is ideal for young families which was not what we were looking for, we would have preferred somewhere less commercial. The hotel itself is clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods to chose from. Internet was not great and the smart tv did not work which was reported but not sorted. Parking was reserved at €14 a night which in my view should have been included. The marina is a short walk from the hotel with a range of nice restaurants and bars to chose from. Overall a nice hotel but the views are not as advertised."
