"The hotel is a smallish size one, run by an extremely warm and friendly husband and wife team who make you feel very welcome. It has all the basic amenities, including provision for a very decent breakfast. The room was quite spacious, clean and well maintained, will all the basic amenities available. The location of the hotel is very good -- in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance from the old town area of Gorlitz. During most days of the week, there is a small and interesting local market that is set-up in the square in front of the hotel -- an added attraction. "We loved our time here in a beautiful location and with a great sense of history. Unfortunately the check in experience was a little stressful. We tried to get directions and check in details beforehand by messaging the host and through VRBO but without result. Following the directions on the listing did not take us to the property and it was only by chance spotting it across the fields that we managed to get there. We wandered round for a while looking for someone and eventually found our hosts door where he was waiting for us.
