We spent three nights at Hotel Restaurant Le Mazot Zermatt and really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable with huge balcony where we could view the golden top of Matterhorn. A sweet and cozy spot to relax after exploring Matterhorn!

The location is nice. It is about 5 mins walk from the station and 15 mins walk to the Glacier Paradise cable. Hotel is in a bit old condition bur well maintained.

Fantastic stay! The staff were really welcoming and the breakfast was great. They even went out of their way to cater to our dietary requirements which we really appreciated. We stayed in a double room which was spacious and comfortable. Our only negative was that the floors weren’t very clean, there was hair everywhere.

Phenomenal view of the Matterhorn from the balcony on Room #8. Perfect location right in the middle of town, close to restaurants and shops, and nicely located looking over the river. 5-10 minute easy walk from the train station. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Comfortable beds, nice and clean bathroom. Highly recommend!

Great location from our room we could not see the Mattahorn, but within 20 steps of the front door there is a wonderful view. The room was clean and had everything we expected. Shared bathroom just across the hall was not a problem at all very clean. Walking distance to Train stations, and all of the shops.

The boutique hotel location is excellent, right at the town centre, very convenient to walk to everywhere. Bus stop is close by. We were given a free upgrade to the Panoramic Matterhorn view room. We could enjoy the spectacular view of the Matterhorn either in bed or at the balcony. The room also comes with a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. The staff are very friendly and the included breakfast has good selection. We had a very pleasant stay! Highly recommend for that price range.

Beautiful view, nice room with private bath, large patio to sit and look at the Matterhorn. The only issue I had was the room above my room, the guest upstairs were making noise, all hours of the night. I hope you get more respectful neighbors.

I stayed at a small single room with shared bathroom, early April. Room is basic and fairly small, and breakfast is simple and economical. I found it a bit pricey for the room, but I guess everything is expensive in Zermatt anyway. Staff was very friendly, and as long as you don’t expect anything fancy it should be alright. Thanks :)

Great location! It takes less than a minute to reach the exact spot where you can enjoy the stunning view shown in the attached photo. If you're up for a little adventure, step outside around 5 a.m. or 10 p.m. In early June—you may just catch the full majesty of the Matterhorn in all its quiet beauty. The hotel itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, with warm-toned wooden interiors that make you feel right at home. The room was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable—just what you want after a day of exploring. The attached restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and casual charm, making it a great spot to unwind. We LOVED the balcony in our room (#4). It's a huge balcony that overlooks 3 different sides of the building plus you can see Matterhorn. The room itself had nice amenities. We did move the balcony table and chairs into our room so that we could use our laptops a little easier. Breakfast was a perfect start to each day. We enjoyed the friendly host that chatted with us and made us feel at home. We highly recommend staying at Le Mazot.

Our room was #3, has a narrow long balcony. We can observe the Matterhorn from here. We had 2 sunny days, and we took a lot of photos and videos of the Matterhorn sunrise. The E- bus stop is very close so we do not need to drag our luggage for 8-10 min between station. The staffs are nice and friendly, who help us to check in, keep our luggage and served early breakfast on our check out morning. I see suggest the hotel shouldn't use the term " reception" because there is no reception exist, making many guest confused on arrival. Other than that, I love the place and we enjoyed 2 nights here. Highly recommended.
