"Regent is at a very good location in Taipei and it's very walkable. The property is well maintained and part of a complex with the Regent Galleria. You definitely can tell this is an upscale property. There's a Louis Vuitton right in the lobby, but the hotel is not pretentious so even casual travelers will feel welcome. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. It actually felt a bit silly taking 4 large steps from the door to the sink. Daily cleaning was very good. On site dining options were extensive but my only experience was the breakfast buffet. Selection is great, including local, western, Korean, Japanese options. I would recommend this for travelers searching for a more upscale experience and business travelers."

"Excellent location!! Friendly Staff!! Especially Elsa from the breakfast buffet…always cheerful in the morning. The only suggestion is the refrigerators in both rooms we reserved never got cold even after putting them in the lowest setting. Still a 5 star experience overall!!"
