The room was excellent! The staff were wonderful—charming and helpful. I’m looking forward to returning both to Rapalla and this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

Great location near everything on the water had a balcony and roof top bar overlooking the bay !! Comfy bed and very clean.

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

Amazing property smartly outfitted with an attention to detail that is rare! Staff is lovely and inviting. Felt as if I were visiting a wealthy eccentric friends villa in Italy!! Will be back for sure.

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. Impressed by an updated and specious room with a huge balcony and spectacular view. Clean overall, a bit tight shower, but other perks are worth it. Great pool and check out at 12pm is a plus too.

Great updated space. The only downside is the noise from people returning to their rooms late at night (you can hear people talking). Otherwise great place to stay and very helpful staff.

Amazing hotel! I wanted to stay here forever! The town of Camogli is truly remarkable and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at on the Italian Riviera. Highly recommend!
