"This hotel was in such a bad, dirty neighborhood. It was super dangerous at night. The hotel is very run down and needs many, many repairs. There were sometimes no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The room itself was so small it was hard to move around in. I could touch both walls with my hands and I am 5’2”! There was no air conditioning or WiFi. There was a tiny, old fan blowing very little air. The staff was pretty nice and helpful though. "

"The place is great! Cozy decoration, clean, comfortable, welcoming. They let you get whatever they have in the refrigerator and the paymento method is based on what you declare! It's a pretty cool place. Staff is super! Location very convenient; few minutes by car to the beach and lagoon. "

"Unfortunately I was not able to stay due to a scheduling change but I was able to give it to my friends to stay. The host was extremely helpful and flexible in working with me to make it happen. They said it was a very clean and nice place and the hosts were very nice! Will definitely be staying here again in the future! "

"AVOID! This place was an absolute nightmare! Ants, roaches, and bedbugs all over the place! When I arrived, the place was unclean from the last guest and the hotel did not care. There is no front desk. BEWARE: It is in the favela and very dangerous even during the day! The pictures are deceptive. I left before my booking ended. You could not pay me to stay here again! "
