The room was clean and comfortable. The reception area was the restaurant, which was a little weird and breakfast was subpar. Limited food and no bowls, one lady looking after breakfast, checking out travelers and cleaning.

Smell of steak house permeates rooms. No reception area, just the waiters at restaurant. Back entrance ( only one if don’t want to walk through restaurant with luggage) has a back alley feel with dark spiral steps with no light. Amenities are basic. No frills. Off major tourist route - convenient for food, etc but also noisy.

Clean room was larger than our Paris or Munich hotels. Food was fantastic at the restaurant, not cheap but excellent food. air conditioning was great and it was +30c. Definitely will stay again and eat here when in Zurich.

The staff were very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags there in the morning, as we had arrived in Zurich off the night train. Room was very comfortable, overlooking a noisy Square, although once we'd closed the window we couldn't hear anything from outside.

Air conditioning! The hotel has air conditioning which was greatly appreciated during a heat wave in Europe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Centrally located in the "old town" and not too far from central train station. Easy access to transit system as well; although, we did not need to use any trams or trains as everything was within a mile of the hotel if you do not mind walking, which allows you to better appreciate the local life.

The room was clean, staff were pleasant, breakfast included was helpful. Located above a restaurant where we had breakfast. Back stairwell was steep for anyone with mobility issues but overall a unique European experience. 8/10 rating from me.
