Worse customer service experience

I had the worse customer service experience I have ever had. The hotel is not as expected and they were not concierge/receptionist to complaint about the lack of wifi, the cleaniless et poor amenities. Hotels. Com did not manage to contact the hotel and I am still waiting for my refund for the remaining nights. Very bad experience.

The main appeal of this place is: location, location, location! is right by the riverfront and tons of shops, bars, restaurants and cafe. Yes, the rooms are small but that is the price you pay for the great location.

Nice short stay hotel

Nice little hotel tucked under a restaurant. Room was big enough for two people. Simple and basic setup in the room was enough for a short stay. Good location for visiting old Town and the nearby areas in Zurich

Vi bookede hotellet fordi der ver 31 gr og hotellet beskrives til at have aircondition. Men dette hotel har IKKE aircondition - det var et meget dårligt ophold. Får det rettet på hjemmesiden!!!!

Heads up the floor shares one bathroom, and without that fan, the room would have been way too hot. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and you can't beat the location for the price.

Nous avons payé un séjour de 2 nuits pour 2 chambres et mes collaborateurs ont dû dormir ensemble dans une seule chambre. J'ai contacté l'hôtel qui m'a raccroché au nez et qui ne m'a jamais remboursé la chambre pour les 2 nuits, c'est un scandale.

Mitten in der Stadt aber trotzdem Nachts ruhig. Zimmer sind klein und gemütlich aber man muss sich das Bad mit dem Flur teilen, wenigstens wenn man im fünften Stock ist. Ich würde es für einen Kurzaufenthalt empfehlen, da ich aber auch ein leicht zu befriedigender Mensch bin, sollte das jeder für sich entscheiden. Für Aufenthalte mit Kindern nicht geeignet.

Great Location.... Awful Room!!

Postage stamp room with mushy old spring bed from Grandmas house..yikes! No shower door or toiletries.. hostel quality but for 160 dollars a night... forget about it!! a FABULOUS LOCATION near great dining and nightlife and cool architecture churches and 1 block to the lake and Opera house. and a great Winter Carnival with great food drinks and shopping, ice skating by the lake

When i reached the hotel at early evening,manager told me that they had canceled my room and it was Expedia Responsibility to inform me.When i politely asked him the reason for which he cancelled my reservation,they could not give me a proper reason. I Realized that i was on the hook as it was evening and finding a hotel would be very difficult in Zurich,so i asked ,if there was a more expensive room available,they readily came out with a room on extra payments. The Email which i sent to Expedia about my experience was forwarded by expedia to the hotel manager the same evening,so when i went to reception to get something,the manager/owner told me that he was very unhappy with me and was thinking of throwing me out of the hotel,but later had changed his mind because i was a senior citizen The small individually owned hotel management sometimes do these things ,and as they dont belong to a Hotel chain,can be very rude and do Arm twisting to increase their revenue,knowing it very well that you cant complain to their bosses as they themselves are the owners

I was only on a one day layover, I'm VERY glad it was only 1 night. I had a room with a private bathroom for one of the cheapest prices in Zurich, which is very expensive. I got there and found that they use the generic "bathroom" to mean toilet. Every room has a private toilet, the showers are on the 5th floor. So I asked for a room with private shower. They have only two in the place, and I managed to get one. They upped the ante to chf 210 for one night. For about chf 225 I could have been at a best western with which I was familiar and is much better. The room had a private shower (the door was taken off the shower stall) and toilet with sink. The room was small, as is expected in Europe, especially in older places. It was very clean though the bathroom was clean just not up to the rest of the room. Overall, I was very disappointed, and for the extra 15 francs I'd have been much better off at the Best Western only a few blocks away. The woman at the desk was very helpful though, did whatever she could. Kuddos to her. They say there is a restaurant, it is closed and up for rent, but there are plenty within walking distance. It is about 4 blocks from the train station so heading to the airport the next day only cost 9 francs as opposed to over 60 for a cab.

Sehr zentral und für den Preis in Ordnung.

Perfekte Lage, sehr zentral. Wir bekamen sogar einen Upgrade in ein Zimmer mit Toilette und Dusche, was wir sehr begrüssten. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht. Ein kleiner Ventilator, welcher zusätzlich im Zimmer stand funktionierte zwar, aber brachte NULL Luftzirkulation. Unsere gekauften Lebensmittel, welche wir in den Kühlschrank stellten, waren am andern Tag nicht gekühlt sondern "Stein Bein" gefroren.
