"Hotel is on beautiful grounds. Room was lovely and clean. It was very nice to have a nice outdoor balcony. Durnstein and the Wachau Valley is absolutely stunning. We rented bikes from the hotel for our three days while at the hotel....it was fantastic exploring the area, the bike paths are great! Only complaint is that the rooms do not have air conditioning and the weather was very hot....had to keep the sliding door open and because there was no screen it waa hard to keep flies out. "

"An exceptionally nice hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. An attractive back terrace was a very pleasant spot for a carry in meal. The breakfast buffet offered unusual variety, very fresh and well prepared and presented. Many healthy choices including freshly prepared vegetable juices. "

"The hotel has no sign on the facade, and it was stressing to find it without that. There is no concierge and the registration is strange, with a WhatsApp communication to a staff member, having to take picture of the passport and send it over via WhatsApp or email, which is strange and concerning. Also concerning is a “contract” that we are asked to sign in order to get access to the building. I found the process very strange and concerning. Had never seen a hotel asking us to sign a contract before. Apart from that, the building inside is modern, clean and pleasant. The room is very good too. There is no option for breakfast, but one can prepare their own, in the communal kitchen"
