"The staff was incredibly helpful. There were many options for families on the grounds. The nightly fire pit was s’mores; the swimming pool; the putting green; all offered nice options."
"This was such a great experience for our family of 5. Two adults and three kids fit perfectly in the bed and the sofa bed. We loved our little cabin. We couldn't leave windows open because of the wildlife ( they had fans), but it was a little warm at bedtime ,but it cooled down.
They had basketball courts volleyball.courts, a rec room with popcorn, towels and board games. So cute ! And the best part it was less than 2 minutes walk to their private beach !

"I was so pleasantly surprised with this property. I was nervous from some older photos but they renovated this beautifully the room did have a slightly musty smell but it was clean and exactly what we needed for our road trip. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. Would love complimentary coffee in the morning though! My kids loved the games though. We’d come back for sure. "
"West River House was a pleasant surprise. It has a hostel vibe. The room was clean and the bed / pillows are very comfortable. We were most impressed with the detailed instructions for everything including parking, shower use, check in and checkout. We enjoyed the balcony as well. The location was great for us as we came to ride bikes and enjoy Truckee Thursday. "

"This is a lovely property with (frankly) an amazingly beautiful PARKING LOT! I was in awe of the beautiful Ponderosa Pines left standing majestically throughout the lot!
The property itself has many amenities (pools, hot tub, s’mores fire, private beaches) that made our stay unique and memorable. Thankfully the front desk staffer put us on the 12th floor with beautiful views and relatively quiet surroundings for the number of small families around. "Clean well appointed rooms. Comfy bed. Solid AC and room was already at 67 when I arrived. Little patio with morning sun. Tea bag style coffee was different. Little hot tub (fits 4 tops). Didn't try the suana - not my thing. "
