"The outside of the buildings looked a little old, but inside, it was very clean and very comfortable with an impressive amount of helpful appliances for food and temperature/humidity comfort. The shower and bedroom were particularly nice. I would have given this hotel a perfect 5 star rating, but unfortunately the bedroom window (Room #7) faced a separate residential house that had many very loud and annoying dogs that barked every day from 6am to 12pm without stopping. "The staff didn't give accurate information - all the staff were Chinese so both English and Japanese language was not clear. There are 2 separate buildings. It's a very steep hill to the hotel, so it was very tiring to walk carrying luggage. The bath was not available at the time that we stayed. The toilets are small. But the room was clean, comfortable, and warm. The showers were also hot, but the water pressure was a bit weak. There are better places to stay in this area."

"We were here for a couple of days and had a wonderful stay! The place is kept clean, and it sits right by the ski hill. Nothing beats a soak in the hot public bath after a day of skiing. Also loved the breakfast and dinner! The gem though was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and went out of the way to help us. "
