There are portions of the walk that are unsafe if there is snow in the side of the roads, busses and traffic have to stop and go around pedestrians. The ski shuttle stop is at the resort. Uber/Taxi was 12 USD one way at the time of our stay/this review. There is no breakfast or food whatsoever at this hotel. There is one microwave for the entire hotel. It was...

"The room was clean and suitable for a week stay in Hakuba. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the Hotel was well located to enjoy the amenities in Echoland. The shuttle services to all the ski resorts are nearby which made it easy for my first time skiing in Hakuba. "

"Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. "
