It's a self check-in hotel, but the procedure is very easy, we had no problems with that. Also the staff is very nice and kind and it was easy to send them a message and they've replied very quickly. "The hotel is definetely a bit shabby and down-at-heel, but it is clean and the staff friendly. Although it was a shared bathroom this was not a problem. The shower was surprisingly strong and as hot as i needed. The room was small but the matress on the bed was very comfortable. If you're happy with cheap but clean then I'd recommend it. I'd stay again"

"We stopped here as it is very convenient to the M40. We loved the charm of the building and the decor of the room we had was tasteful and beautiful ( Stag). Our ground floor room had a lovely open outlook over fields. Large bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which we really enjoyed although the hotel was very quiet. The owner could not have been more attentive. Lovely stay and good value for money."
