"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "Perla Azul worked out great for our family. It was nice having the front house as well as the smaller back house, especially with adult children. Listing was exactly as described and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was wonderful, and appreciated the air conditioning and ability to lock the gate. Walk to town and beach was easy. Did a fun ATV ride with Quads2U, would recommend. "
