"I felt safe here which is a big thing for me. Staff were friendly and room was mostly clean. Lots of dust but I think that’s to be expected in a motel? Only thing I didn’t care for is at the online check in for the room they listed continental breakfast. What they had was not continental breakfast. It was a grab and go. They had packaged muffins and juice. They should probably reword that. Great stay over all for the price and I would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in the area! "

"The Peri -Social is a different concept hotel. It is self check in and there are no staff on duty except the barista in the cafe/bar. Our room was very nice and spacious and very clean. The common areas were very nice and the coffee-/ self serve breakfast area worked well. I would have liked more fruit and more options without excessive sugar but that is my usual complaint with hotel breakfasts. Overall we were very happy with our two day stay at the Peri Social house and loved that we could walk to dining options in Black Mountajn. "

"This was the third year in a row that we have stayed in Black Mountain. It is a family and friends trip for my granddaughter's homecoming soccer game. By far, this house was the best. Room to seat the twelve of us in the dining room. Big kitchen. Plenty of dishes, pans, and cutlery. Nice bedrooms, only you had to walk through two of the upstairs ones to get to two others. Having the five bathrooms was a great plus with ten women! Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the view. Cable, wifi, and cellphone service were great. The long, curvy driveway, up the hill, was the only downside to this property; but, we had plenty of parking for our four vehicles. After returning home, my sister realized she had lost a bracelet her grandchildren had given her. Getting in touch with the host, he was able to have the cleaning staff find it! We hope to return here next year!"
