"We had a really wonderful stay at the Maison Gorey hotel in Jersey. We loved that it was in a quiet area yet with still plenty to do and see and several buses running regularly to and from St Helier. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and efficient. "Nice big room, big comfortable bed and good sized tv. Lovely breakfast and great service from Dee and James. Although the hotel is dated it has been really well looked after and run by Dee and James, its a shame the buildings owners wont invest in the upkeep and it is closing. "Very disappointed, it was like a hostel and it was very noisy. I think we were the only guests in amongst all contractors staying there. The pool that was advertised was not functional and hadn’t been for a long time by the looks of it. There was no pool table as advertised and the public area was stacked with random matresses.
