My husband and 2 daughters stayed for 7 nights at the Gastof Eiserne Hand while visiting the area to ski and watch the Free Ride World Tour event. They had the most amazing hospitality from Markus and Micel and stated "it was the best place we have ever stayed". The beds were comfortable, the location beautiful, the breakfast delicous and the after dinner schnaps very much enjoyed. Spent 2 nights with the family to visit during school holidays Salzburg and sightseeings around.
Quite new, clean, well managed hotel/pension. Friendly and supportive owner. Perfect connection to public transportation, bus stop is right in front of hotel. Great for money spent.

We as a family of 4 were perfectly satisfied and enjoyed our stay. Perfect location away from the madness of Salzburg proper. Check in was a breeze. Check out was a breeze. Just follow the instructions. The only issue was parking. No real info so I figured it out myself. Around the corner is a garage. €10 per day, but if you to the garage office you can get a discount for multiple days. We would definitely stay here again

Two buildings one for key one for rooms. 2 units with a very nice shared bathroom. A full kitchen. It was a good price for going to the mountains and half away from the Ludwig museum. Not sure on the bike paths, we had rental car.

Near the airport which reduced our transist vost and travel time. Staff was very helpful. I suggest getting a room on the opposite side ofvthe expressway, its is noisy when you open the window. With it closed its quiet. The rooms are small and have the lasted designs. The TV only had 3 channels, no youtube.
