"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. "

Was welcomed by Il Capo and his family (Fabio and his wife and 2 sons) special shout out to Fabio and Eduardo who spoke very good English and recommended us great places to visit. They made us feel like being at home. Their hotel has a small pool… perfect for a dip in to cool off and a brand new jacuzzi which was a bonus! Great location with nice views from the rooms. "Very friendly managers. Good location. Everything as advertised! We had a 2nd floor apt with balcony. There is a nice shared patio on ground floor. Minutes from both train stations. Terme has be devastated by covid and hence fewer tourist. We stayed a week and made trips to Firenze, Luca, Pisa. and alto. Small but very nice."
