"From our arrival through to our departure, The Birdhouse surpassed our expectations. It's beautifully designed and it's in an amazing location. Kristen and Gregor are perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. There are lots of stunning walks and scenery to explore in Applecross Bay. Coastline north of Port Earlish Low tide reveals a few rocks in the square. I got to within 4m of standing on them, but it was too precarious to make the last couple of leaps into the square - or to get my camera out. The rocks are slippery and the water is a lot deeper than it looks from here. This picture was taken from about 20m outside the square.
