"First, the location of this hotel is wonderful. Very close to Bar Harbor without feeling like you were in the busyness of the town. The parking was easy and check in was simple. "great location, nice property, room was spacious and clean BUT the cleaning products used were so strong smelling, that I had to leave the door open all night and still had a headache from the smell the next morning and had to check out instead of staying another night. also, the bathroom had no where to put stuff."

"This motel is the worst lodging I have ever encountered. There is no standard to compare it - makes Motel 6 look like a luxury hotel. The reception and staff were cold and rude. I was traveling with my daughter and we didn't feel safe or comfortable. There were random men sitting around outside in the parking lot when we checked into our room. "We stayed in the motel portion. The location is convenient and our room was ok, but the bathroom had a sliding door with no locking mechanism, which is quite ridiculous when there is a family staying in the room. When I emailed the property twice about this, both emails were ignored. Similarly, I messaged them with a request for "late" checkout (11 am, since their checkout is a ridiculously early 10 am), I received no response."
