"We took the bus from Split to Plitvice, so our options for hotels were limited to what we could walk to from the bus station. I think there were probably better options than this one, however, though the convenience it afforded for walking from the bust station and then into the park were the reason for booking it. There were no communications with host, we essentially arrived at the remote property with no instructions and found the premises unlocked and we just made ourselves at home, after re-checking several times we were at the correct spot. For context, we traveled here in September - which is off season! Nearest grocery store was a 40min drive - we met our host along the winding road to the store - he greeted us with fresh eggs!
