"Very cute place, nicely decorated. Very clean except couch was sandy so was the bed. We stayed in #9. The porch is unsafe. Very small you can step off the side or front on either side of steps, if you are not careful. You cannot see the lake from #9. You can walk out down a small sidewalk, onto the sand, then down to the lake. Very peaceful by the water. #9 is close to the main road US23. With the door open and screen closed. The traffic was loud. If I stay again I will ask for front place...

"The rental property is in a quiet neighborhood close to the activities we enjoyed-AuSable canoe rentals, the beach and town. It was super clean and perfect for our one night stay for the two of us. Matthew was very accommodating offering us early check in and late check out. So nice. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. "

"If you really want to get away from it all, this is the place. Gorgeous and very comfortable log home. Situated amongst the pines, away from the main road and steps from the beach. We truly appreciated the serenity, privacy, and nature!! Lots of snow, but road and driveway were always plowed, making it so easy for us to drive 10-15 min into town for food/groceries. We loved trekking around the property and beach with our dog Luna- she had so much fun! Strong WiFi, even during heavy snow/wind....
